Hey guys this is the first journal I've ever written and its to spread the word of a cause that's really important: stopping SOPA. You've probably noticed that some of your favorite sites are either down or "censored" to protest these bills so you've probably heard of them by now. These protests are making progress however a big supporter of SOPA is the ESA (Entertainment Software Association). If you don't know who they are they ruin E3 and represented the game industry during the supreme court case a while back. (Brown v ESA... we won) If you don't think these bill affect you than consider this: imagine a world where you are sued for writing fan fiction creating fan art or other innocent uses of copyrighted material. This law could force sites like YouTube to ban all users who post any copywriten content for fear of Legal action. If your a gamer and apposed to SOPA than join the boycott on E3 andf urge all your favorite gaming sites, magazines, blogs YT pages , etc. to not attend or even cover E3 until they pull their support of the SOPA and Protect IP bills. for more info check the links below.
